For Playfair’s the awards ceremony in Glasgow was a family affair, with head chef Duncan McLachlan, his sister and director of marketing Rachel McLachlan (both pictured) and their parents Roy and Eliza - who own the business - all attending the event. See more detail here.

Playfair’s restaurant and steakhouse in St Andrews has been named as a finalist in the Best Restaurant in the North-east Region category at the annual Food Awards Scotland.

Now in its second year, it celebrates the best in the Scottish food sector.
